I was able to verify this recording and setlist at the Husker Du database, so this one obviously has been circulated at some point, but this is a fresh transfer from the lowest known gen still in existence (1st), and while the database gives the recording a C+ grade saying “no high end”, I’d say this is a pretty solid "B" recording (maybe even a "B+"), with limited high end…thanks to the miracle of azimuth correction… I was listening to this today, and found it quite enjoyable, which would be difficult to do with a C+ recording…As always samples are provided fer you to decide. While lacking the sonic fidelity of the previous recordings, the boys put on a fine performance, with a great setlist to boot. Please enjoy, but: Don’t Sell!! Don’t Disseminate in MP3 Format!!
