After Doug passed away his voluminous cassette collection went to his brother Gary, who very generously made it available to a few of us in 2006. Gary recently passed away as well, which reminded us that it is well past time to get some of Doug's recordings out for folks to enjoy. Doug had many really good recordings in his collection...and this Husker Du show is not one of them. It is one of the worst live tapes I've ever listened to, and I've listened to many thousands of live tapes. But this did come directly from his master cassette and it seems that this show is completely uncirculated, so it is worthy as a historical document. mrpember, October 2020
